You’ll be at the forefront of innovative training programs, research, and continuous improvement in the field. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Develop & Deliver Training</strong> – Design and implement engaging, evidence-based education for paramedics. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Drive Quality & Innovation</strong> – Ensure training aligns with Base Hospital medical directives, best practices, and industry standards. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Assess & Improve Programs</strong> – Monitor the effectiveness of training sessions and drive improvements. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Mentor & Support Teams</strong> – Foster a high-performance learning culture through coaching, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Advance Paramedic Research</strong> – Support and coordinate research studies, ensuring real-world application of findings. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Strengthen Recruitment & Onboarding</strong> – Participate in hiring processes and oversee orientation for new team members. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Engage with Partners</strong> – Collaborate with colleges, industry experts, and working groups to drive education forward. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Champion Equity & Inclusion</strong> – Commit to creating an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse perspectives and learning needs. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You Bring to the Team</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education & Certification</strong> – A university degree and/or college diploma in Health Sciences or Paramedic program. Certification as an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) or Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) is required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Experience</strong> – Minimum 5 years as a certified paramedic with at least 2 years of experience in adult education (training and curriculum design), research and analysis. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Technical Skills</strong> – Strong understanding of training methodologies, quality assurance, and research application in paramedicine. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Licensing & Compliance</strong> – Certified by the Peel Regional’s Base Hospital or able to cross-certify with Peel Regional’s Base Hospital.
