The Director of Business Development reports to the Executive Director and plays a key leadership role in growing the competitive and community swimming programs and managing member relationships. This position collaborates with staff across all programs to maximize facility utilization and revenue.</p>\n<p>Salary range is anticipated at $40,000 - $50,000. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan and performance bonus potential. </p>\n<p>This high-profile position involves exciting opportunities to drive growth and change in youth swimming at all levels. We are a USA Swimming sanctioned organization.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.</li>\n <li>At least 5 years’ sales or marketing experience.</li>\n <li>While our programs are focused on youth swimming, experience in competitive swimming is not required, but a plus.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads</li>\n <li>Strong communication and negotiation skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p>\n<p>Send a resume, no more than 2 pages, to: [email protected]</p>\n<p>Your resume must contain information on how to contact you.</p>\n<p>Your application must be received by no later than June 17, 2026.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><h3><strong>Business Growth </strong></h3></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>Collaborates with Director of Competitive Swimming to identify opportunities for membership growth by attracting new members, tracking prospective members, and retaining current members.</li>\n  <li>Identifies additional revenue opportunities through retail, apparel, events, and community partnerships.</li>\n  <li>Develops and implement strategies to increase overall revenue.</li>\n  <li>Tracks membership and program growth data and report to the Executive Director monthly. </li>\n  <li>Provides input to annual budget formulation process, with specific emphaisis regarding revenue projections. </li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Fundraising and Sponsorship</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Assists the Executive Director in maintaining a single donor/sponsor database, donor/sponsor recognition, and donor/sponsor follow-up.</li>\n   <li>Assists the organization with planning and execution of fundraising events.</li>\n  </ul>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><h3><strong>Member Relations</strong></h3></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>Serves as the primary point of contact for all member relations and new members, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.</li>\n  <li>Manages incoming communications (email, phone, text, and social media inquiries).</li>\n  <li>Organizes competitive swimming try-out sessions, tracks leads, and follow sup to convert prospects into members. </li>\n  <li>Collaborates with staff to identify timing and process for swim lesson move-up’s/try-outs.</li>\n  <li>Plans and executes member events that strengthen community and engagement.</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<ul>\n <li><h3><strong>Marketing, Communications and Community Engagement</strong></h3></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>Collaborates with the Executive Director to develop and execute marketing strategies. </li>\n  <li>Clearly communicates and promotes the full range of 757swim programs to the community. </li>\n  <li>Represents 757swim in the local community to build brand awareness and positive relationships. </li>\n  <li>Coordinates promotional campaigns for programs and events. </li>\n  <li>Assists with social media by capturing photos/videos, creating content, and posting regularly. </li>\n  <li>Collaborates with web-site consultant to ensure content, design, etc. and information is current and relevant. </li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
