    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The faculty will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time, face-to-face basis in mathematics courses. Instruct and evaluate students in one or more of the following courses, with emphasis on relating mathematics instruction to technical programs: Pre Algebra, Elementary Algebra I & II, Career Mathematics, Structures of Mathematics, Topics in Mathematics, Elementary Statistics, and Technical Algebra and Trigonometry.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or directly related discipline. Required</li>\n <li>Master's Degree in Mathematics or directly related discipline. Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coursework in or experience using technology in instruction. Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Relevant secondary or college teaching experience. Required</li>\n <li>Background which applies mathematics to the trades. Preferred</li>\n <li>Experience with graphing calculators and/or computers in a mathematical instructional setting. Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ABILITIES AND SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, faculty, staff, and the public. Required</li>\n <li>Sensitivity to the expectations of students, faculty, and staff. Required</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Required</li>\n <li>Developed organizational skills. Required</li>\n <li>Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues.
