The Warehouse Helper will be responsible for assisting with overall operations, including receiving incoming material, processing products, maintaining inventory, setting up machine station, and packing outgoing material. This role is located in <strong>Hauppauge, NY</strong> and will be fully on-site. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hourly Pay Range</strong>:$20.50 per hour to $20.50 per hour</p>\n<p><strong>Work Schedule</strong>: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Wieland, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of eperience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Warehouse Helper Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Create and maintain a safe organized working environment.</li>\n <li>Making and closing crates, and cutting stock material to length.</li>\n <li>Review incoming shipping documents and update inventory.</li>\n <li>Review outgoing shipping documents and package product.</li>\n <li>Inspect inventory and product orders for accuracy.</li>\n <li>Report product discrepancies to management.</li>\n <li>Assist with the setup of material on machines.</li>\n <li>Actively communicate with teammates.</li>\n <li>Load and unload packages from trucks.</li>\n <li>Operate forklifts to move material.</li>\n <li>Other Operations tasks as assigned.</li>\n <li>Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail (critical skill).</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.</li>\n <li>Ability to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary.</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible hours as required by the position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Warehouse Helper Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Standing, walking up to 8 hours</li>\n <li>Twisting, bending up to 4 hours</li>\n <li>Operation of sit-down/stand-up lift</li>\n <li>Perform duties under pressure of deadlines</li>\n <li>Understanding of manufacturing industries preferred</li>\n <li>Carpentry skill a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Joining Wieland’s team gives you…</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Benefits</strong> - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!</li>\n <li><strong>Retirement Savings</strong> - 401(k) contribution + match.</li>\n <li><strong>Work/Life Balance</strong> - Paid Vacation & Holidays.</li>\n <li><strong>Growth Opportunities</strong> - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
