Help us deliver solutions that ensure Life Is On everywhere, for everyone and at every moment . %0A%0A %0A%0A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtExntUe89c %0A%0A %0A%0A Great people make Schneider Electric a great company. %0A%0A %0A%0A What do you get to do in this position? %0A%0A -Design of electrical systems and/or communications systems; ensuring that these systems meet applicable standards & codes. %0A%0A -Create electrical engineering for new projects, updating existing drawings as needed, and communicate with stakeholders about changes. %0A%0A -Perform electrical calculation to size correctly electrical devices and conductors. %0A%0A -Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties. %0A%0A -Suggest modifications to develop and design to enhance quality and performance of equipment. %0A%0A -Review designs development for conformance with applicable codes, utilizing engineering standards along with good engineering practices. %0A%0A -Prepare technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals. %0A%0A -Prepare and oversee electrical power system design having single line diagrams , wiring and elementary diagrams along with layout and circuitry design. %0A%0A - Research competitor products quarterly and collaborate with product development team to generate ideas for making our products the best ones on the market. %0A%0A -Review supplier drawings conforming with laid down specifications plus dimensional compatibility along with mating assemblies and components. %0A%0A -Works with senior and fellow engineers in NAM and abroad to develop alternatives and options for further development of projects and products. %0A%0A -Supports product sourcing, purchasing and component selection as required by the design process. %0A%0A -Collaborate with assembly teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required. %0A%0A -Set up and maintain the ECAD system, developing library’s and establishing standard components. %0A%0A -Develop an electrical engineering standard for components and suppliers. %0A%0A -Participates in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs and codes. %0A%0A -Support installation on site of equipment, ensuring safety and quality requirements. %0A%0A -Collaborate during commissioning and Site Acceptance Test, to fulfill End User requirements. %0A%0A -Technical support and Customer service. This job might be for you if: Education: Electrical / Electronics - Bachelor’s degree or related field Job Related Experience: More than 5 years of experience in Customized Design of Automatic machines Well knowledge and experience of equipment setup and qualification Skills: Strong knowledge of ECAD modeling, drawings and machine design with experience in design analyses. Knowledge of applicable codes related to electrical design. Proficient in design and calculation for electrical design. Investigative mind inclined toward developing practical solutions to real-world problems. Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Hands-on and can-do attitude. The ability to stay abreast of advancements in technology and engineering design trends.
