    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Collegiate School seeks an experienced CDL Driver for a full-time position. The CDL Driver is responsible for transporting Collegiate students, faculty and staff using school-owned vehicles, performing required vehicle pre/post trip inspections, vehicle cleaning, vehicle maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor. This is a benefited position.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>General Responsibilities include:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete transportation vehicle pre/post trip inspections prior to/after each vehicle use, and work to ensure all fleet vehicles are in safe driving condition.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reports any and all vehicle defects immediately to the Transportation Supervisor.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Report any and all vehicle defects in a timely manner to the Transportation Supervisor</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure all vehicles (activity buses, mini buses, service vehicles, golf carts and trailers) are cleaned, properly maintained and fueled on a daily basis.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform driving-related duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adhere to CDL related requirements and regulations, including required D.O.T. physicals.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comply with OSHA, DOT, DMV, VCPE and Collegiate safety rules and regulations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in training activities and remain up-to-date and informed as to current and best practices of job-related functions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Be available to work weekend and/or weekday shifts and any overtime as needed by the Department of Transportation</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other necessary Physical Plant duties, as assigned.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides basic first aid as necessary to passengers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Immediately reports any incidents or injuries that occur while transporting passengers to school official(s) and the Transportation Supervisor.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications and competencies:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li>Must be 21 years of age and at least 3 years of passenger driving experience, preferably in a school, charter, or transit setting.</li><li>Must have and maintain a valid Virginia&rsquo;s CDL Class A or B with a passenger (P) endorsement.&nbsp;</li><li>Acceptable DMV restrictions are: E- Restricted to automatic transmission when operating a CMV; J- CDL privilege- school activity bus only; K- You may not operate a commercial motor vehicle outside of Virginia.
