Play a decisive role in the recruitment of student-athletes and manage a database of prospects.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Assist the Head Coach in developing a comprehensive and strategic game plan throughout the season. Evaluate upcoming opponents and prepare a scouting report.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Execute other program related tasks as assigned by the Head Coach.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong> <strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS</strong>:</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent educational degree.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; A working knowledge of the guidelines and rules governing recruiting, eligibility and rules for the sport within the NAIA.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Knowledge of general operation of the basketball program.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Possess the qualities that reflect the standards of conduct and lifestyle of the Assemblies of God fellowship.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><br></strong><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience recruiting highly-talented intercollegiate student-athletes.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience coaching basketball at an intercollegiate level.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to coach, teach, and motivate student-athletes in a Christian-collegiate environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated ability to work in a competitive, collaborative environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong communication skills.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Evangel University is a comprehensive Christian university committed to excellence in educating and equipping students to become Spirit-empowered servants of God who impact the Church and society globally.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Please complete the following application questions and attach RESUME and COVER LETTER (either by downloading or copy and pasting at the end of questionnaire).
