All work is performed in accordance with released procedures and assembly drawings and in a clean room environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; PERFORMANCE MEASURES</strong></p><p>• Assembly of optical systems to yield the required assembly tolerances.</p><p>• Record necessary information for traceability of assembly procedures.</p><p>• Recording touch time on work orders.</p><p>• Inspect optical and mechanical components for conformance to purchased prints.</p><p>• Assist in the optimization of optical components and mechanics to achieve desire results.</p><p>• Assistance with improving the assembly process and identifying design improvements for next generation products.</p><p>• Assist with troubleshooting, quality assurance and continuous improvement.</p><p>• Assist with laser marking, cutting, and welding as needed.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS</strong></p><p>• 3-5 years working as an assembler in a manufacturing business required.</p><p>• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively through listening, understanding and supplying</p><p>timely feedback as well as continuously demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude</p><p>• Self-starter with willingness and discipline to continually learn.</p><p>• Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines.</p><p>• Familiarity with various measuring instruments is a plus.</p><p>• 3-5 years working with optical assemblies is a plus.</p><p>• Laser Machine experience is a plus.</p><p>• The ability to lift 40 pounds.</p><p><br></p><p>Notes: This job description is not intended to be exhaustive in every respect, but rather to clearly define the fundamental purpose, responsibilities and dimensions for the role.
