The Model combines concept-driven language instruction with visual supports, technology and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Check out <a href=\"https://vimeo.com/894121531\">“Bellefaire JCB: Join Our Team” </a>on Vimeo!</span></p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><u><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></u><br><br>The Monarch School Behavior Specialist is charged with the responsibility of conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and developing, monitoring and managing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans for the assigned caseload of Monarch students.  The Monarch School Behavior Specialist will work under the supervision of a qualified BCBA supervisor as designated by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB®).  This position and the associated duties fulfill supervised independent fieldwork requirements as delineated by the BACB. <br><br><u><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</strong></u></span><ol><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Actively participate in supervision with Behavior Analysts, to include attending ABA group supervision meetings twice monthly or as scheduled by the Behavior Analyst Supervisors.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Under supervision of a qualified BCBA supervisor, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Functional Analyses (FA), as needed, for the assigned caseload of Monarch students.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Under the supervision of a qualified BCBA supervisor, develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans based on FBA results.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Monitor/coordinate implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans across school settings.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Utilize Behavior Skills Training to train others on Behavior Intervention Plans.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Develop and maintain behavioral measurement and collection systems and create graphical data representations and reports for progress-monitoring of students on caseload.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Observe caseload of students in the classroom on a regular and consistent basis.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Organize, prioritize, and manage work assignments in an efficient manner and within established time frames.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Under the supervision of a qualified BCBA Supervisor, train staff on principles of applied behavior analysis including defining behavior, reinforcement and punishment, strengthening and weakening behavior, and identification of antecedents and consequences.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Consult and collaborate with directors, supervisors, teachers, and related service providers regarding behavior intervention techniques and strategies.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Communicate objective information to parents and other stakeholders when necessary.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Contribute to the development of behavioral goals and objectives in the Individual Education Plan (IEP).  </span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">As necessary, utilize Safety Care procedures, including at a minimum, make use of the necessary Two-Person Stability Hold.</span></li></ol><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><u><strong>OTHER DUTIES:</strong></u></span><ol><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Respect the privacy of students and hold in confidence all information obtained during the student’s treatment. The Model combines concept-driven language instruction with visual supports, technology and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Check out <a href=\"https://vimeo.com/894121531\">“Bellefaire JCB: Join Our Team” </a>on Vimeo!</span></p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><u><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></u><br><br>The Monarch School Behavior Specialist is charged with the responsibility of conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and developing, monitoring and managing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans for the assigned caseload of Monarch students.  The Monarch School Behavior Specialist will work under the supervision of a qualified BCBA supervisor as designated by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB®).  This position and the associated duties fulfill supervised independent fieldwork requirements as delineated by the BACB. <br><br><u><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</strong></u></span><ol><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Actively participate in supervision with Behavior Analysts, to include attending ABA group supervision meetings twice monthly or as scheduled by the Behavior Analyst Supervisors.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Under supervision of a qualified BCBA supervisor, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Functional Analyses (FA), as needed, for the assigned caseload of Monarch students.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Under the supervision of a qualified BCBA supervisor, develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans based on FBA results.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Monitor/coordinate implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans across school settings.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Utilize Behavior Skills Training to train others on Behavior Intervention Plans.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Develop and maintain behavioral measurement and collection systems and create graphical data representations and reports for progress-monitoring of students on caseload.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Observe caseload of students in the classroom on a regular and consistent basis.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Organize, prioritize, and manage work assignments in an efficient manner and within established time frames.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Under the supervision of a qualified BCBA Supervisor, train staff on principles of applied behavior analysis including defining behavior, reinforcement and punishment, strengthening and weakening behavior, and identification of antecedents and consequences.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Consult and collaborate with directors, supervisors, teachers, and related service providers regarding behavior intervention techniques and strategies.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Communicate objective information to parents and other stakeholders when necessary.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Contribute to the development of behavioral goals and objectives in the Individual Education Plan (IEP).  </span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">As necessary, utilize Safety Care procedures, including at a minimum, make use of the necessary Two-Person Stability Hold.</span></li></ol><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><u><strong>OTHER DUTIES:</strong></u></span><ol><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Respect the privacy of students and hold in confidence all information obtained during the student’s treatment. All student-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board ®.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Other duties as assigned by management.</span></li></ol><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><u><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></u></span><ol><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Education:    Bachelor’s Degree required.
