If you’re passionate about improving oral health and creating satisfied patients, we invite you to join us in redefining the culture of dentistry.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Work Schedule</strong></p>\n<p>Tuesday/Thursday (in Downers Grove) 7:45am-6:00pm</p>\n<p>Wednesday/Friday (in Bolingbrook) 7:45am-6:00pm</p>\n<p>(2) Saturdays a Month 6:45am-2:30pm</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide assistance to surgeons during procedures including preparation and documentation</li>\n <li>Provides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors which includes but not limited to: charting and operatory set-up and clean-up</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills such as establishing positive relationships with our team and patients</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach</li>\n <li>Take dental radiographs/x-rays as well as cone beam 3D scans</li>\n <li>Motivated to learn more and provide the best patient care at all times</li>\n <li>Maintain a caring and friendly environment that emphasizes patient care</li>\n <li>Assist with Sedation Processes -prepare patients for treatment by talking them through the procedure</li>\n <li>Monitor Patient Vital Statistics -monitor patient vital statistics and intravenous fluids during surgery and notify the surgeon about an issue as soon as it occurs.</li>\n <li>Sterilize Equipment- Keeping the surgery area clean and tidy is a key aspect of an oral surgery assistant’s role, so it’s important that all equipment is sterilized before and after use and that all preparation areas are thoroughly cleaned to meet health and safety regulations</li>\n <li>Provide Post-Operation Advice- After surgery, oral surgery assistants provide patients with follow-up instructions and postoperative care tips</li>\n <li>Ability to take impressions and pour up plaster diagnostics models</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Need to Succeed</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.</li>\n <li>3-5 years of experience preferred</li>\n <li>Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).</li>\n <li>Current CPR certification.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite.</li>\n <li>A commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why You’ll Love Working Here</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Comprehensive Benefits</strong>: Including 401(k).</li>\n <li><strong>Paid Time Off</strong>: Competitive PTO that grows with your career.</li>\n <li><strong>Career Growth</strong>: Opportunities for continuing education and development.</li>\n <li><strong>Exciting Work Environment</strong>: A supportive atmosphere that celebrates individuality and teamwork, allowing you to thrive.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong>We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace. The practices receive non-clinical business support services from North American Dental Group, a dental support organization.</em></p>\n<p><strong><em>#NADG2</em></strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>So How Can You “Fill” This Role?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training and state required licensure</li>\n <li>1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates</li>\n <li>Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state</li>\n <li>CPR Certification required</li>\n <li>Proficient in navigating Windows 7,8 and 10</li>\n <li>Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients</li>\n <li>Clinical providers performing aerosol-generating procedures are required the wear an N95 respirator, usage of which is regulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  OSHA regulations require a medical evaluation for each team member who will be wearing a respirator to ensure it can be safely worn.  Subsequent to being medically cleared, OSHA requires a fit test to ensure the respirator fits properly for protection against pathogens.  Clearing the medical evaluation and fit test are conditions of employment for all team members working with aerosol-generating procedures.</li>\n</ul>",
