This role acts as the administrator on call and is responsible for the overall operation of assigned markets, including the employment of qualified hospice staff and the delivery of high-quality services across multiple sites. The Executive Director Specialist RN will provide leadership and stability by filling in across markets, ensuring consistent compliance, quality, and patient care standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do as Executive Director Specialist – RN:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Serve as the Administrator on record at assigned hospice agencies</p></li>\n <li><p>Oversee the day-to-day operations including staffing, compliance, patient services, and performance improvement</p></li>\n <li><p>Drive clinical quality and ensure services meet Medicare Conditions of Participation, state hospice regulations, and Gentiva standards</p></li>\n <li><p>Lead, coach, and support hospice care teams to meet patient-centered goals</p></li>\n <li><p>Manage operational budgets with full P&L responsibility</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure smooth transitions and sustainable team performance</p></li>\n <li><p>Travel up to 100% throughout the region to provide onsite leadership</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About You</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Registered Nurse (RN) with current license in the state of residence</p></li>\n <li><p>3–5 years of leadership or sales/management experience, preferably in hospice or healthcare</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with Medicaid/Medicare regulations and reimbursement</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong understanding of hospice operations and regulatory compliance</p></li>\n <li><p>Able to work independently and travel frequently</p></li>\n <li><p>Effective communicator with strong decision-making and time management skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Highly proficient with technology and digital platforms</p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality care</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Compensation may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications and department equity.
