font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">The Underground Rail Station Construction Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support management of a Rail Transit Tunnel project.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Act as Construction Manager overseeing the activities of Assistant Construction Managers, Office Engineers, Assistant Office Engineers, Lead Inspectors, Construction Inspectors, and Administrative/Project personnel.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Monitor contractors’ work for compliance with schedule, Budget, Technical Specifications, and Legal Requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Resolve design and field construction problems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Attend progress meetings and reports on project status.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Expedite design and field changes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Review contractor requests for change and, when appropriate, assist in the preparation of contract change orders/modifications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist the agency Contracting Officer in the negotiation of contract changes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Communicate and implement safety rules, policies, and procedures in support of the agency’s safety vision and goals to contractors and subordinate</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering or related field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">At least fifteen (15) years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction with ten (10) years in the construction of Rail Transit Projects with underground stations in urban</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience as a Resident Engineer or Construction Manager on transit projects of at least $500M</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Understanding of Design-Build (DB) project delivery; and DB project experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience managing a team of 10 or more professionals.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Cal-OSHA/OSHA 30 training certification at start of work</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Registration as Professional Engineer or Architect is preferred or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
