    "description": "<h2>Position Title</h2>Clinical Technician, Medical Surgical\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<h2><b>Purpose & Scope:</b></h2>\n<p>The Clinical Technician III works under the direct supervision of the RN and is an active member of the health care team. Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, the Clinical Technician performs a variety of routine duties involving the care of patients including performing direct patient care or activities of daily living, observing changes in the status of patients, providing a clean and safe environment, transporting patients, and other related duties. Clinical Technicians must be empathetic and have good communication and nursing skills to care for patients.</p>\n<p></p>\n<h2><b>Education:</b></h2>\n<p>High school diploma or equivalent is required</p>\n<p></p>\n<h2><b>Experience:</b></h2>\n<p>1 year experience as a Clinical Technician II as defined in the core skills for Clinical Technician III, or</p>\n<p>1 year experience as a Clinical Technician II who has successfully completed the VHC Health Clinical Technician III education, or</p>\n<p>Completed a training program meeting core skills & competencies, or</p>\n<p>Successful completion of the VHC Health Nurse Externship Program</p>\n<p></p>\n<h2><b>Certification/Licensure:</b></h2>\n<p>BLS Certification required.</p>",
