Your responsibilities will include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform field testing, troubleshooting, startup, and commissioning of electrical equipment</li>\n <li>Interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, protection logic, and relay settings</li>\n <li>Execute relay testing and protection scheme verification during outage-based commissioning projects</li>\n <li>Lead or support field crews during testing, commissioning, and energization activities</li>\n <li>Provide technical leadership on startup and capital upgrade projects when applicable</li>\n <li>Document and report test results per project specifications</li>\n <li>Coordinate with utility clients, EPCs, and project management teams</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years electrical testing or commissioning experience</li>\n <li>Class A CDL or be willing to get one</li>\n <li>Experience with substation equipment testing</li>\n <li>Familiarity with protective relay testing</li>\n <li>Experience with Doble, Omicron, Manta, Vanguard, or similar</li>\n <li>Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel for project assignments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>NETA II / III / IV Certification</li>\n <li>Transformer Testing Experience</li>\n <li>Breaker Testing Experience</li>\n <li>Commissioning or Startup Experience</li>\n <li>Utility or EPC Project Experience</li>\n <li>Renewable Interconnect or BESS Project Experience</li>\n <li>Military Prime Power or Equivalent</li>\n</ul>\n<p>AES hires technicians with NETA certification but is not a NETA-accredited company.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Get</h2>\n<p>When you join Advanced Electric Systems (AES), you’re not just stepping into a job, you’re becoming part of a team that takes pride in the work we do and the people who do it.
