Our passion is building.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute and enforce safety standards, processes, and procedures ensuring project site is kept clean and organized. Conduct weekly safety inspections and monthly safety audits.</li>\n <li>Enforce quality standards, processes and procedures, conduct quality control audits.</li>\n <li>Direct all construction activities and administrative processes to ensure successful project planning, execution, and closure.</li>\n <li>Support the identification and pursuit of new business development opportunities while maintaining repeat client relationships.</li>\n <li>Estimate and takeoff the scope, cost and duration of project; analyze bids made by subcontractors; select and contract subcontractors and prepare the bid proposal for submission to the owner.</li>\n <li>Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions.</li>\n <li>Find the best right answer by recommending methods, materials and layouts to reduce construction costs based on design needs/capabilities.</li>\n <li>Determine needed resources, such as manpower, materials and equipment, from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.</li>\n <li>Obtain all necessary permits and licenses; direct or monitor compliance with building and safety codes, other regulations, and requirements set by the project’s insurers.</li>\n <li>Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods to drive down costs, save time and deliver value.</li>\n <li>Maintain the communication, progress and productive mutual interaction of various stakeholders in such a way that overall risk is reduced.</li>\n <li>Perform day-to-day administrative tasks including maintaining construction documents and processing paperwork; including pay applications, project closeout etc.</li>\n <li>Maintain and control project scope and budget.</li>\n <li>Project manpower projections, updates, and coverages.</li>\n <li>Initiate, review, and negotiate change orders.</li>\n <li>Direct, coordinate, and monitor the activities of construction workers on a construction site to ensure specifications are met.</li>\n <li>Conduct weekly project OAC, subcontractor and internal staff meetings.</li>\n <li>Assign and lead the day-to-day work of Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents</li>\n <li>Provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching for Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers and Superintendents.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering (i.e. civil, architectural or construction), construction management or related field.</li>\n <li>5+ years project management experience in commercial construction.</li>\n <li>Relevant experience supporting $50+ million projects from Large Box Industrial, Advanced Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, etc. </li>\n <li>Prior conceptual estimating and bidding experience in commercial construction is required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of construction principles/practices required.</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and solve complex challenges to present alternative solutions.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with computer applications including Procore, P6, Microsoft Office suite, and SharePoint.</li>\n <li>Proven experience implementing safety protocols with a track record of successfully implementing and enforcing safety procedures on construction sites ensuring a secure work environment for project team.</li>\n <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company, for this position currently or in the future.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The Project Manager’s work is primarily performed indoors in a main office or field office at the construction site; occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions with exposure to health or safety hazards, including noise levels ranging from moderate to loud.</li>\n <li>Light physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 20 pounds and some standing, walking, sitting, talking and hearing.</li>\n <li>Construction site will change or vary and/or position may require travel.</li>\n <li>Environment will be demanding and fast paced; number of hours typically worked in a workweek may exceed 40 hours per week and often “on call” 24 hours a day.</li>\n <li>Position requires a high-level of autonomy as it relates to decision-making that impacts company results, client relationships, and subcontractor interaction.</li>\n <li>Depending on location of position, nationwide travel may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Brinkmann Constructors, our passion for people means investing in their financial, mental, and physical well-being.
