Our people are what make North American Construction Group an industry leader, its our people that keep the largest fleet of equipment running and it's our people that keep our job sites safe.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate heavy equipment (Haul Trucks, Dozers, Blades) on mine roads and in pit areas. </li>\n <li>Observe all operation policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Report any potentially unsafe conditions. </li>\n <li>Partipate in safety procedures and Job Hazard Analysis of the working area. </li>\n <li>Perform Walk around inspection</li>\n <li>Work in Outdoor settings</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Three or more years related to Heavy Equipment Operation. </li>\n <li>Ability to set priorirtes which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities. </li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as manuals and labels. </li>\n <li>Ability to fill out paperwork associated with the operation of Heavy Equipment. </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently while understanding the neccessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employeees. </li>\n <li>Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts. </li>\n <li>Ability to be flexible, work as part of a team in a collaborative environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Environment:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in conditions common to a construction site including but not limited to rain, sleet, snow,dust, mud, heat, sun, cold.</li>\n <li>Ability to work irregular hours, weekends.</li>\n <li>Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift.</li>\n <li>Outdoor open pit mine environment in ambient temperature. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds or more.</li>\n <li>Climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.</li>\n <li>Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven Possess full range of motion and flexibility.</li>\n <li>Frequently required to stand; walk; climb; sit; reach with hands and arms overhead and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p>All successful candidates must:</p>\n<li>Be proficient in English, both verbally and written</li>\n<li>Have a valid Driver’s License </li>\n<li>Have experience as requested as mentioned above</li>\n<li>Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:\n <ul>\n  <li>Breath Alcohol Test</li>\n  <li>Urine Drug Test</li>\n  <li>Fitness-to-Work Assessment</li>\n  <li>Audiometric Testing</li>\n  <li>Vision Screening</li>\n  <li>Criminal Record Check</li>\n </ul></li>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>NACG Texas Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, veteran status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status or disability (in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act) with respect to employment opportunities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position description is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of accountabilities, duties, responsibilities of requirements.
