By joining our team, you will be contributing to an environment that promotes equity, respect, and inclusion for all.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Are you the one we’re looking for?</span><br></p>\n<p>We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Camp <span>Counsellor who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness and empowerment; to our clients, families and each other.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summer Camp Counsellor</span> is responsible for providing flexible and engaging programming for children in Grades J.K to 6, in a safe and stimulating environment. Summer Camp staff will provide a Safe, fun, physically active and educational day camp experience.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Temporary, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">30-40 hours per week</span> From <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">June 22 2026 – August 14 2026</span>.  The rate of pay is <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">$17.60.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Implementation of the daily camp programs for children ages 6-12 years</li>\n<li>Ensure the health and safety of the children participation in the camp program</li>\n<li>Create a fun, experience rich, physically active and educational day camp experience for all campers.</li>\n<li>Monitor and provide care for the children participating in the camp program</li>\n<li>Support and actively participate in all camp related activities (i.e. camp trips, games, crafts)</li>\n<li>Act as a positive role model and leader at all times</li>\n<li>Encourage camp participants to follow proper hygiene and cleanliness</li>\n<li>Build positive relationships with camp staff, participants and parents and/or caregiver</li>\n<li>To follow all policies and procedures as required.</li>\n<li>Welcome, support and interact with all clients, including those from culturally diverse backgrounds, newcomers to Canada, LGBTQ2S+, young parents, etc.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will bring:</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Completion of Secondary School Diploma</li>\n<li>Applicant must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.</li>\n<li>Postsecondary studies or previous experience in Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Worker, Recreation Leadership, Social Service Worker, Social Work or a Social Service field.</li>\n<li>Experience and sensitivity working with all families including those culturally diverse, LGBTQ2S+, young parents, etc.</li>\n<li>Must be willing to work flexible hours.</li>\n<li>First aid/CPR training.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Invest in Yourself as we Invest in You!
