Here, you will make an impact by:</p><ul><li>Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of production equipment including electrical, electronic, robotics, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems</li><li>Troubleshooting and solving complex equipment problems</li><li>Development and implementation of maintenance procedures and techniques for a safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant</li><li>Analyzing available data to improve the equipment maintenance plan</li><li>Training and development of the maintenance and production work force</li></ul><p>           </p><p><b><span>Your Skills and Expertise</span></b><span>:</span></p><p><br />To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:</p><p></p><p><i>Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.</i></p><p></p><ul><li>Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)</li><li>Three (3) years of industrial manufacturing technician experience in a private, public, government or military environment, in leu of experience, a technical degree in an engineering related field (Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, Robotics &amp; Automation, etc.)</li><li>Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting PLC‑controlled systems and related production equipment in a similar environment.</li><li>Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays</li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Applicants meeting the basic qualifications may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.</i></b></p><p><b><i>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:</i></b></p><ul><li>Possess or in the last 6 months of pursuing a two-year technical degree/diploma in a maintenance field in a private, public, government, or military industrial environment setting.</li><li>Strong knowledge and experience with PLC’s, inkjet printers, extrusion equipment, ovens, hydraulic presses</li><li>Possess a good knowledge of drive control, site HMI operation</li><li>Experience installing, diagnosing and repairing, assembly and/or automated machinery in a manufacturing environment, robotics and automated equipment</li><li>Strong background in electrical preventative maintenance as well as basic knowledge of electrical code covering laws of installation of electrical equipment; use test equipment, possess a good understanding for mechanical design &amp; operation, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, lubrication, etc.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Work location: </span></b>This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work fully on-site at 3M in Springfield, MO.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Travel:</span></b><span> None</span></p><p><b><span>Relocation Assistance:</span></b><span> Not Authorized</span></p><p></p><p><b>Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).</b></p><p></p><p><b>Pay Transparency: </b></p><p><i>The starting rate of pay rate is $33.23</i><i><span> This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and education.
