We are looking for a team player who understands the flexible schedule that the broadcast industry requires to join our production crew. You will be responsible for operating cameras, teleprompter, audio-board, graphics and video equipment related to live broadcasts and post-production. You will work with our production team to guarantee a successful broadcast is produced.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Operate cameras and studio floor directing</li><li>Move and handle props and sets during productions</li><li>Construction, maintenance, installation and operation of props, cameras, prompters, sets and other production equipment</li><li>Lighting and script preparation for newscasts</li><li>Maintain appearance of studios including cleaning of set and floors</li><li>Understand and maintain lighting grid and control board</li><li>Climb ladders to change light bulbs and adjust fixtures on the grid</li><li>Edit syndicated promos for air and web content using Adobe Premiere</li><li>Assist the directors</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Working knowledge of television newscast equipment and software</li><li>Videography experience helpful</li><li>Editing experience is necessary</li><li>Can deal with the stresses and pressures of time-sensitive newscast production</li><li>Related military experience will be considered</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><strong>Values in Action</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">At Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
