As part of RS&H’s Boise-focused aviation effort, you’ll support ongoing work at BOI and collaborate closely with airport leadership, local stakeholders, and regional partners—helping build long-term relationships and position RS&H for continued growth across Idaho and the surrounding region.</p>\n<p>RS&H has proudly supported Boise Airport since 2007.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What You’ll Do</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Lead Project Delivery</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support aviation projects from concept through construction, including airfield design, pavements, utilities, and supporting infrastructure</li>\n <li>Collaborate closely with project managers and technical leaders across RS&H’s aviation practice</li>\n <li>Oversee design efforts, ensure quality control, and support scope, schedule, and budget management</li>\n <li>Coordinate with airport staff, FAA representatives, consultants, and stakeholders</li>\n <li>Prepare plans, specifications, technical memoranda, and supporting documentation</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Develop Technical & Leadership Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Apply FAA standards and aviation best practices to solve complex design challenges</li>\n <li>Grow your ability to make independent technical decisions with guidance from senior mentors</li>\n <li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture</li>\n <li>Take on increasing levels of project responsibility over time</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Grow Relationships & the Idaho Aviation Market</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strengthen RS&H’s relationship with Boise Airport (BOI)</li>\n <li>Participate in client meetings and help maintain trusted-advisor relationships</li>\n <li>Contribute to proposals, interviews, and strategic growth initiatives</li>\n <li>Represent RS&H at local and regional aviation industry events</li>\n <li>Partner with regional leadership to expand RS&H’s aviation footprint in Idaho</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What We’re Looking For</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program</li>\n <li>7+ years of civil engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in aviation</li>\n <li>PE license in Idaho or ability to obtain within 6 months</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of aviation design fundamentals</li>\n <li>Experience preparing aviation plans, details, and technical specifications</li>\n <li>Ability to lead tasks or components of small to moderate projects</li>\n <li>Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Ideal Candidate</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience leading project teams or coordinating multidisciplinary efforts</li>\n <li>Familiarity with FAA standards and airport design criteria</li>\n <li>Comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with an interest in growing a regional practice</li>\n <li>Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentorship and leadership development</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Why RS&H</u></strong></p>\n<p>As an employee-owned firm, you have the opportunity to share in the company’s success and directly benefit from your contributions.
