You will have direct ownership of your files and be responsible for ensuring that the required documentation is compliant for funding.    </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing tranches for submission to funders</li>\n<li>Reviewing incoming and outgoing payments and financial transactions for accuracy</li>\n<li>Documenting new funding tranches into the ledger</li>\n<li>Managing payment to funders on time</li>\n<li>Producing monthly compliance reporting</li>\n<li>Analyzing cash flow processes and make suggestions for improvement</li>\n<li>Supporting tranche audit and funders audit</li>\n<li>Making borrowing requests</li>\n<li>Creating regular reports to funders</li>\n<li>Protecting organization’s value by keeping information confidential</li>\n<li>Other accounting duties that management may require<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills Knowledge &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant university degree or college diploma combined with two years of work experience</li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies and procedures and budgeting methods</li>\n<li>Detail orientated, with excellent organizational and follow up skills</li>\n<li>Ability to produce and manage daily management reporting requirements</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.</li>\n<li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li>\n<li>Energetic team player with ability to work independently</li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Great Plains would be an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will show a keen interest in learning and an ongoing desire to improve the timeliness and efficiency of the financial reporting processes.
