Description
SEHLKE POSITION TITLE : Data Strategy and Integration SME
LOCATION : Arlington, VA
JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking high energy individuals who are passionate about helping clients achieve process excellence. Qualified candidates will have a creative, holistic, and systematic approach to problem-solving. The Data Strategy and Integration SME is responsible for integrating the initiatives of creative and resourceful people across AQX and Divisions to maximize their contributions. This role requires expertise in DoD data strategies, evolving data requirements, and employing data analytics/science technologies to maximize Air Force success.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide SAF/AQX consulting on DoD acquisition law and policy, and derivative data and system requirements. Formulate overarching data strategies and implementation plans that enable and align to SAF/AQX goals. Supports management and governance of acquisition data, ensuring the transparent alignment, definition, ownership, and rules for its use toward a more efficient and effective Air Force acquisition community. Works as an integrator for the contractor support staff who support different offices within. Organizes and supports integrated product teams (IPT) of Air Force and support staff member. Maintain cognizance of the laws, regulations, and policies governing DoD and Air Force Acquisition. Assist in project-wide communication through written and oral delivery of team goals and work-status reports Under general supervision, employee will be expected to exercise sound and independent judgment and consistently exercise discretion .
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS :
Must be able to obtain and maintain SECRET Clearance
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
DAWIA Certification (Preferred) or equivalent program management certifications
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
15+ years in multiple levels of the DoD acquisition community: program management office, staff support to Program Executive Officer, Component Acquisition Executive, or Defense Acquisition Executive. Multiple areas of acquisition proficiency, such as: program management, financial management, contracting, research and development, engineering, production, test, contracting, logistics and sustainment. Knowledgeable of DoD acquisition data and program reporting requirements. Experience interacting on-site with Federal Government clients and Senior Leadership. Excellent written and oral communication skills; Attention to detail with strong organizational skills; Ability to work quickly and efficiently to deliver on tight deadlines; Ability to be flexible and adapt to the dynamic nature of consulting engagement. Applied experience performing quantitative and qualitative analyses. Proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite; Experience with Microsoft Access, Visio, and SharePoint. Knowledge and familiarity of the following:
DoDI 5000.02 and the series of Adaptive Acquisition Framework DoDIs 10 U.S.C. Chapter 144 and 144a Major system reporting requirements in different Adaptive Acquisition Framework programs Exposure to and understanding of any of the following:
Data Models (ERD physical and logical/IDEF 1.x) Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) Decision Trees Activity Node Diagrams (IDEF 0) DoD Architecture Framework ANSI SQL database (constraints, triggers, and optionality)
