    "description": "<p>We are seeking a highly experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior DevOps Platform Architect</span> to lead the strategic evolution of our enterprise CI/CD platform, enabling secure, scalable, and modern software delivery across both cloud and mainframe environments.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In this role, you will serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor, driving the architecture, design, and modernization of our DevOps platform ecosystem. You will collaborate with engineering teams, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Governance stakeholders to establish best practices, define platform standards, and deliver innovative solutions that accelerate software delivery while maintaining enterprise-grade reliability and compliance. As a key contributor to our developer enablement strategy, you will champion automation, platform engineering, and AI-driven capabilities that enhance developer experience and productivity at scale.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">5-month contract, hybrid position</span> with the potential for extension. The successful candidate is expected to work from our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Toronto office three days per week</span>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What will you do?</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the design and development of key features for the Helios <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CI/CD</span> pipeline – <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">VM </span>and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mainframe </span>platforms</li>\n<li>Consult with partner systems to develop integration strategies revolving around <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DevOps </span>best practices</li>\n<li>Consult with Enterprise Architecture and Governance teams to review solution designs to ensure best practices are adhered to</li>\n<li>Enable AI Capabilities to increase Developer Productivity</li>\n<li>Work with product owners and key stakeholders to develop high-value features that benefit the Developer community</li>\n<li>Maintain the CI/CD pipeline:  security and vulnerability management, capacity management, deployment and scaling strategies, performance and uptime, infrastructure hygiene</li>\n<li>Provide estimates on feature delivery, identify and determine delivery risks on key initiatives, and contribute to quarterly product road map planning</li>\n<li>Review contributions from the Developer community and approve PRs</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What do you need to Succeed?</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must-Have</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>7 years of strong experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Azure DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure</span></li>\n<li>Deep understanding of DevOps Principles and best practices for CI/CD, including designing at an Enterprise scale</li>\n<li>Understand configuration as code, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RBAC</span>, and working within the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mainframe </span>environment from modern deployment platforms</li>\n<li>Experience with DevOps tools, platforms, and interfaces:  <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Jenkins, UCD, Github, Github Actions, JFrog Artifactory, Hashicorp Vault, Ansible, Octopus Deploy</span></li>\n<li>Proficient with Java, Python, Typescript, Groovy, YAML, NPM</li>\n<li>Experience with deploying to cloud platforms:  <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">OCP, Azure, AWS</span></li>\n<li>Highly proficient with IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz)</li>\n<li>Experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mainframe utilities</span> and platforms:  ISPF, TSO, Mainframe Filesystems, JES, Endeavor</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We offer a competitive hourly rate, a casual workspace, and great people to collaborate with.
