Uniquely positioned in our ability to produce large central systems for an entire plant down to individual filters for a single cutting machine on the floor, our proprietary filtration and cooling technologies come second to none.</p><p>The Assembler will perform duties to assemble and test filtration machinery in accordance with production and engineering standards, prescribed procedures, customer specifications, and quality standards. The Assembler will select the assembly method and erection procedure, fit parts to tolerances and operating requirements, and be involved with the use of hand and power tools.</p><p><strong>Role and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Fit, align, and assemble manufactured or purchased parts, motors, pumps, and sub-assemblies into completed units and make necessary electrical and piping connections</li><li>Position parts according to the layout of the unit being assembled or according to engineering drawings</li><li>Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, or other fasteners</li><li>Drill and tap holes for fasteners</li><li>Advising Superiors of discrepancies, visually inspect parts and assemblies for fit and surface defects</li><li>Remove small quantities of metal with hand files to produce close fit between parts</li><li>Test components and unit for proper operation</li><li>Move items to the Paint Department for painting using a forklift</li><li>Record daily production information on the timekeeping system</li><li>Follow company policies and safety while keeping a clean and orderly work area</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED and four to six years&rsquo; mechanical repair or machine assembly experience</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering and/or assembly drawings</li><li>Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals</li><li>Write/complete routine documents such as checklists and time sheets</li><li>Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals</li><li>Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form</li><li>Able to work Second Shift hours of 3:15pm to 11:45pm CST</li><li>Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</li><li>Forklift operator Certification</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Statement:</strong> Komline is an EEO Employer- M/F/Vets/Disabled</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
