Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with cost estimating for structural steel components, materials, and labor to support bids, budgets, and change orders. Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues during design development, fabrication, erection, and commissioning phases. Support project scheduling by analyzing critical path activities, dependencies, and resource requirements to help maintain aggressive hyperscale delivery timelines. Prepare technical documentation including submittals, shop drawing packages, as-built documentation, and project reports in accordance with quality and compliance standards. Track project progress and assist in identifying risks, delays, and coordination issues, providing solutions to maintain schedule and budget alignment. Support continuous improvement initiatives by researching and implementing tools, processes, and technologies that enhance steel engineering and construction execution. Assist in coordination between engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 3+ years of relevant experience supporting structural steel projects in industrial or data center environments. Strong understanding of structural steel detailing, fabrication, erection, and building systems. Experience with document control, RFIs, submittals, quantity takeoffs, and change management processes. Familiarity with scheduling tools, BIM workflows, and construction\\/project management software (Primavera P6, Procore, or similar). Strong technical writing, analytical, and organizational skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. Eagerness and ability to grow into broader project and technical leadership responsibilities.
