Whether you are a recent graduate with untapped potential or a professional with proven experience, we invite you to discover a career path designed for you.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Leadership and management of engineers and technicians.</li>\n <li>Technical supervision and design capabilities in the areas of pavement, utilities, grading, site elements, and drainage.</li>\n <li>Client development and management, including successful relationships, financial accounting, and responsiveness.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and other design criteria.</li>\n <li>Manage demands of in-house and external surveying support.</li>\n <li>Community involvement including active participation and seeking leadership roles in civic, technical, and professional organizations.</li>\n <li>Develops proposals, scopes, fees, and tracking performance.</li>\n <li>Development and maintenance of relationships with City departments.</li>\n <li>Presentations at hearings, Commissions, and Council meetings.</li>\n <li>Project types to include:</li>\n <li>Site Design for Office, Retail, Industrial, and Institutional Buildings</li>\n <li>Residential Subdivisions from Land Acquisition to Finished Lots</li>\n <li>Municipal Roadway, Drainage, and Planning projects</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering required.</li>\n <li>Professional engineer registration in Texas.</li>\n <li>Minimum 6 years of experience in the types of responsibilities listed above.</li>\n <li>Additional desirable experience would include:</li>\n <li>Experience including plans production and management of the following tasks:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience with entitlements such as Platting, Zoning, and Municipal Permitting</li>\n   <li>Experience with Site Planning and Development Master Planning</li>\n   <li>Grading and Drainage Design</li>\n   <li>Street and Alley Design</li>\n   <li>Site Design</li>\n   <li>Water and Wastewater Design</li>\n   <li>Hydrology and Hydraulics Analysis and Design</li>\n   <li>General Civil Design</li>\n   <li>Construction Management</li>\n   <li>Software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.</li>\n   <li>SWP3s</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors.</li>\n <li>Must be able to attend City Council/client meetings as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits and Perks</strong></p>\n<p>We offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
