At Dynamic, we foster a rewarding workplace, investing in our employees with industry-leading training programs that pave the way for growth and advancement.\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Quality Control Manager, as a member of our growing Quality Assurance team, will serve as a technical expert and will lead the QA/QC process of land development plan submissions.  This person will play a key role in improving technical standards, value engineering, and eliminating design issues before and during construction.   The QC Manager will also work closely with staff to develop a culture of technical excellence. This position will support the entire company and can be based in any of our offices.  If you are not local, flexible arrangements can be made. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform independent technical review in the areas of Land Development Plan Design, Stormwater Management Design, Water and Sanitary Sewer Design and Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design.</li>\n <li>Identify potential design or constructability issues and provide value engineering for solutions that meet project requirements while reducing costs.</li>\n <li>Ensure the quality of project deliverables.</li>\n <li>Work collaboratively with the project managers and multi-disciplined design teams.</li>\n <li>Verify that design and code requirements have been defined by the project engineer and have been indicated on the design documents.   </li>\n <li>Lead regular training and development sessions to foster an environment of technical excellence. </li>\n <li>Provide vision and guidance to the firm in the area of Design and Production of technical deliverables.</li>\n <li>Perform periodic evaluations of staff to identify training needs within assigned region and report to Head of QA.</li>\n <li>Assist in training material preparation and lead training as needed.Assist in improvement of design tools, processes and procedures.</li>\n <li>Balance your own workload in a deadline driven environment. </li>\n <li>Manage a small team in future.</li>\n <li>Travel to other offices when necessary.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering preferred</li>\n <li>10+ years’ experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential and/or commercial/industrial/office site design and permitting experience).</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) registration is a plus</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.</li>\n <li>Familiar with AutoCAD/Land Development Desktop.</li>\n <li>Familiar with BlueBeam for mark ups</li>\n <li>In depth knowledge of the planning and zoning process.</li>\n <li>Advanced skill level in design capabilities.</li>\n <li>Advanced problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Proficient grading and drainage design skills.</li>\n <li>Utility design experience including pump station and force mains.</li>\n <li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li>\n <li>Independent and critical thinking abilities.</li>\n <li>Ability to work and lead in a team-oriented environment with a focus on staff development and mentoring.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>We strive to provide a great company culture consisting of a variety of team building events: trivia nights, softball and volleyball leagues, mini golf tournaments, BBQ’s, happy hours, poker nights, catered weekly staff meetings, surfboard lending programs, and much more.
