    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">In 2020, G Mining Ventures (GMIN) was created to acquire direct ownership of projects and capitalize on the value uplift that successful mine development offers.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">In July 2024, GMIN acquired the Oko West project. The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">To ensure the achievement of this large-scale project, G Mining Ventures is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Drill Operator:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Drill Operator is responsible for operating various types of drill rigs to create blast holes in accordance with production plans and safety standards. This role plays a key part in the drill and blast cycle and contributes directly to the efficient and safe extraction of mineral resources.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Areas of Responsibility &amp; Duties</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Operate drill rigs safely and efficiently in accordance with mine plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Conduct pre-operational inspections and ensure equipment is in good working condition.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Drill blast holes to specified depths, diameters, angles, and spacing using appropriate drilling methods.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Accurately mark holes and report any deviations or anomalies in ground conditions to supervisors or engineers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain logs of drilling performance, hole conditions, equipment hours, and delays.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Communicate effectively with blast crew, surveyors, and dispatch to coordinate drilling activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure drilling patterns are followed precisely and collaborate with supervisors to adjust if necessary.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Identify and report safety hazards and participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and field-level risk assessments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assist in training new drill operators or helpers as directed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Skills and Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">High school graduate with technical diploma in mining.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum of 2–4 years of experience operating blast hole drill rigs in a mining or quarry environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience with various types of drills (rotary, down-the-hole (DTH), or top hammer drill rigs).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Understanding of drilling and blasting procedures and safety standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to read drill plans, maps, and production layouts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Physically fit and able to work in harsh environmental conditions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Position based at the OKO Project site.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work Schedule – 14 days on 7 days Off</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Transport, accommodations, and meals provided on site.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Compensation Package:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Permanent, full-time role</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Competitive Salary</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Competitive benefits, bonus and group insurances.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>",
