    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p>At Baptist Health, our mission is to improve the health and quality of life for the individuals and communities we serve.</p>\n<p>Baptist Health Princeton Hospital offers great NEW competitive pay and benefits!</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental, Vision</li>\n <li>403(b) Retirement Savings Plan w/matching</li>\n <li>Health Savings Account (HSA)</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off (up to 5 weeks to start)</li>\n <li>Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Extended Leave Plan (ELP)</li>\n <li>Family Care (childcare, elder care, pet care)</li>\n <li>Educational Benefits including tuition reimbursement & monthly payments to help pay down any graduated school debt</li>\n</ul>\n<p>ALL benefits start on day one!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Position Summary</p>\n<p>Provides quality patient care when performing diagnostic sonographic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works closely with Radiologist to perform diagnostic sonographic exams.</li>\n <li>Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.</li>\n <li>Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.</li>\n <li>Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.</li>\n <li>Adheres to Orlando Health mission statements and commitment to excellence standards.</li>\n <li>Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.</li>\n <li>Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.</li>\n <li>Performs proper patient identification, acquires patient’s clinical history, and assures that the information is accurately documented.</li>\n <li>Positions patient, equipment, associated devices and manipulates technical factors to achieve high quality images for interpretation.</li>\n <li>Assesses diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated.</li>\n <li>Comprehends and complies with Quality Control standards and participates in all Quality Control tasks.</li>\n <li>Administers medical aid as required for any emergency situation.</li>\n <li>Applies appropriate standard precautions and personal protective equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases.</li>\n <li>Assists in supervision of student sonographers and training of new sonographers.</li>\n <li>Utilizes all Corporate Radiology computer systems effectively and accurately.</li>\n <li>Ensures safety of all customers.</li>\n <li>Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state </li>\n</ul>\n<p>and local standards.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other Related Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Follows established standards of practice for image processing and interpretation.</li>\n <li>Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintains well stocked and organized work areas.</li>\n <li>May be required to work at any facility</li>\n <li>Provides patient transport.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education/Training</p>\n<p>Graduate of an accredited school of sonography and meets American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) eligibility </p>\n<p>guidelines.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong>• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)registered through the American Registry ofDiagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate.• Maintains ARDMS physics registry and one ARDMS registry • Must be registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) within twelve (12) months of hire</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Experience</p>\n<p>Knowledge of routine ultrasound procedures and routinely demonstrates competency in performing ultrasound examinations pertinent to department.</p>",
