    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Randolph-Macon College, a member of NCAA Division III and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Head Women&rsquo;s Lacrosse Coach. This is a full-time 12-month position and will have responsibilities for organizing and administering all aspects of the Lacrosse program.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Primary duties involve establishing game plans, evaluating player and staff needs, designing and implementing practice schedules and conditioning programs, and supervising the work of assistant coaches&nbsp;</li><li>Providing hands-on instruction to athletes and motivating them to perform to their full potential; making game decisions and constructing a competitive schedule</li><li>Recruiting players and staff, conducting post-game evaluations, monitoring academic progress and eligibility</li><li>Coordinating travel arrangements and monitoring budget expenditures</li><li>Developing strategies and working with Athletic Development staff on team related fundraising and promoting good public relations through various college organizations and activities</li><li>Position involves substantial travel during recruiting periods</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required</li><li>Head coaching experience or significant assistant coaching experience at the collegiate level</li><li>Understanding of the Division III philosophy of athletics and commitment to academics are essential&nbsp;</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record by insurance standards</li></ul><p><strong>The College</strong></p><p>Founded in 1830, Randolph-Macon has about 1800 students and is located in Ashland, VA, a residential community 15 miles north of Richmond and 90 miles south of Washington D.C., thereby having all the benefits for its students, faculty and staff of a dynamic metropolitan area which serves as the state capital.
