Overview: WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a Security Verification Test Software Engineer to support the development, testing, and verification of complex software systems in a mission-critical environment. This role supports agile development teams responsible for preparing and executing verification tests for software releases across a large, integrated system. The ideal candidate is experienced in secure software development, test automation, and working within disciplined engineering environments supporting government customers. Application Process: Interested candidates should submit their resume detailing their qualifications and experience. Security Clearance Requirements: This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph. Responsibilities Perform software development activities as part of an agile development team supporting security verification testing Translate agile user stories into implementable designs, code, tests, and deployed capabilities Participate in Program Increment planning and agile ceremonies Analyze complex system requirements and support design activities using formal specifications and accepted design techniques Apply sound software engineering principles to produce efficient, reliable, maintainable, and reusable code Develop and maintain automated test scripts using DevOps automation practices and test automation tools Engineer, author, tune, document, and deploy automation scripts in development and test environments Promote code reuse and cross-program collaboration to reduce maintenance costs Support verification testing activities for software releases in development, test, and production environments Work across multiple technologies including Java, scripting languages, and embedded software as required About WOOD Fringe Benefits: Health Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.
