    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>Position Summary</u></strong></p><p>Under general supervision, the Non-CDL Straight Truck Driver delivers aluminum extrusion and related materials to area customers using a 26-foot straight truck. This role is responsible for safe vehicle operation, accurate delivery, cargo securement, and adherence to all DOT, company, and safety regulations. The driver works closely with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers to ensure timely and professional service.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Essential Duties/Responsibilities</u></strong></p><p>The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee with this job title.</p><p>&bull; Operate a 26&rsquo; Straight Truck (Non-CDL) safely and professionally</p><p>&bull; Operate the vehicle in compliance with all local, state, federal and company driving regulations and safety standards</p><p>&bull; Maintain proper vehicle control when navigating narrow areas, customer sites, or challenging road conditions</p><p>&bull; Safely load and unload aluminum extrusions and related materials using proper handling methods</p><p>&bull; Check that loads are properly secured with straps, edge protectors, or other required securement devices</p><p>&bull; Review shipping paperwork for accuracy and any special handling requirements</p><p>&bull; Wear appropriate safety equipment (PPE) when handling materials</p><p>&bull; Maintain Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logbook in accordance with DOT regulations</p><p>&bull; Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection reports</p><p>&bull; Maintain truck cleanliness, safety, and general operational conditions</p><p>&bull; Keep securement devices (straps, tarps, etc.) clean and properly stored</p><p>&bull; Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse personnel, and supervisors</p><p>&bull; Notify management of delivery issues, damaged material, or customer concerns</p><p>&bull; Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
