    "description": "<h2>About the Role</h2>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced Regional Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of facilities in DC, MD, and VA. This role requires a licensed professional with strong technical expertise in building systems and proven hands-on experience managing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of facility operations, compliance, and preventive maintenance in mission-critical or large-scale environments.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient building operations while leading multidisciplinary facilities staff and coordinating daily activities across a portfolio of facilities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage and oversee daily operations and maintenance of large commercial and government facilities.</li>\n <li>Manage budgets, track expenses, and support forecasting for facility operations.</li>\n <li>Lead and supervise a team of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing technicians.</li>\n <li>Ensure proper operation of building systems including:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>HVAC and mechanical systems</li>\n  <li>Electrical distribution systems</li>\n  <li>Plumbing and life safety systems</li>\n  <li>Building automation systems (BAS)</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.</li>\n <li>Monitor work performance, scheduling, and staffing levels to ensure service requirements are met.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Serve as the technical authority for troubleshooting and resolving complex facility issues.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs.</li>\n <li>Prepare reports on system performance, work orders, and operational metrics.</li>\n <li>Support emergency response and after-hours call rotation as required.</li>\n <li>Maintain a strong customer service focus while supporting mission-critical operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Full-time Monday-Friday </p>\n<p>Salaried up to $120,000.00/year</p>\n<h2>You Should Have</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>DC 1st/DC 3rd or Maryland 1st Class Engineer License prefered.</li>\n <li>Minimum 10 years of experience in facilities management or building operations within commercial facilities, with at least 7 years in a project management/supervisory role.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated hands-on experience with:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>HVAC systems</li>\n  <li>Electrical systems</li>\n  <li>Plumbing systems</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Proven experience supervising and managing technical staff.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of building operations, maintenance best practices, and regulatory compliance.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional certifications (HVAC, electrical, or safety-related certifications) a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to walk facilities, climb ladders, and access mechanical rooms and rooftops.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EOE, including disability/veterans</p>\n<h2>Why You'll Love Working With Us</h2>\n<p>Complete Building Services (CBS) is a company that is passionate about the operation and maintenance of buildings/facilities in the commercial and government sectors.
