Assist in the management of the music equipment and supplies. Incumbent should possess a dance or theatrical background, with the ability to teach basic dance steps.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></u><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and deliver a music program that is appropriate for the age and ability of the campers and that utilizes the natural environment and the value of camping.</li><li>Write lesson plans that meet the abilities for both the “Younger Village” (K-3 grade) and “Older Village” (grades 4-9th).</li><li>Younger Village should include learning famous line dances that can be learned in one period of the camp daily schedule.</li><li>Older Village should encompass progress programming where campers will learn choreographed routines throughout the week set to popular or today’s hits.</li><li>Programming for any age could include choreography, Broadway or Musical re-creation.</li><li>Design and deliver activities that ensure varied projects for each week/day.</li><li>Hand in weekly curriculum no later than Thursday the week before programming.</li><li>Participate enthusiastically in all camp activities, planning and leading those as assigned.</li><li>Participate as a member of the camp staff team to deliver and participate in Family Nights, Special Event Fridays, overnights, and other all-camp activities and camp functions.</li><li>Assist in ratio as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>",
