If you're passionate about making a positive impact as a Registered Dental Hygienist, we invite you to join our team!  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Dental Hygienist: Key Responsibilities</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct oral health assessments, inclusive of oral cancer and other periodontal diseases.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform thorough dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar and stains from teeth.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Take digital x-rays.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist the dentist with patient examinations and conduct follow-up treatment as directed. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and overall dental health. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Document patient dental history and maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Adhere to all infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You may be a good fit for our Dental Hygienist role if you possess:</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong leadership and communication skills  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>A dedication to education and quality care  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Outstanding teamwork capabilities  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>A drive for mission driven work and a welcoming attitude </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Expertise in multitasking and managing interruptions efficiently  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate or Bachelors in Hygiene from an Accredited Program (Required) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Current Michigan Registered Dental Hygiene License (Required) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Local Anesthetic preferred </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Visit our website to learn more about the benefits of working at MCDC: mydental.org/careers.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>My Community Dental Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
