You’ll carry out safe trimming and felling, support fault response work and deliver vegetation services for both the network and private customers.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This is a physically active, outdoor role that offers variety, challenge, and the chance to use and grow your arboriculture expertise. You’ll work with modern equipment, a supportive team, and a company committed to safety and continuous improvement.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">The ideal candidate</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Relevant arboriculture qualification (Level 4 Certificate in Arboriculture or equivalent)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Utility Arborist qualification (preferred but not essential - must be willing to work towards)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">1+ years’ experience in arboriculture, ideally including EWP and climbing experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Full Class 2 Driver Licence (Class 1 minimum required)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Good understanding of vegetation maintenance requirements around overhead distribution systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Physically fit and happy working outdoors</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong communication skills with a focus on safety and quality</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Comfortable using mobile technology and software (Outlook, Word, Excel)</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">About Network Waitaki</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Based in the vibrant coastal town of Oamaru, Network Waitaki is an electricity distribution and energy services business that powers our local economy.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Network Waitaki Contracting team provide electrical construction and maintenance services across New Zealand.
