The AVP, Commercial Banking will identify and implement new and revised credit processes, procedures and reporting. This role provides analysis in such areas as financial information, security valuations, terms and conditions of the credit request to ensure that approved applications are appropriately structures to minimize risk of default and outcomes reflect LCU’s values, business strategy and goals. In addition, the AVP, Commercial Banking will provide coaching, direction and support the Relationship Managers.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You'll not only work closely with a talented team but with members to understand their unique needs but also collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and contribute to the credit union's success. This role requires a proactive approach, strategic thinking, and a dedication to exceptional member service and above all exceptional leadership skills.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 56, 101); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">7-9 years of experience, preferably in a credit union, including direct experience in business lending, credit adjudication and relationship management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent critical analysis and decision-making skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A high attention to technical detail and proven ability to work effectively in a time sensitive and team environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong quantitative skills, with some familiarity of basic statistics.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong leadership, impact, influencing and presentation skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent relationship, interpersonal and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong business acumen coupled with a demonstrated ability to initiate action to achieve results and meet deadlines while respecting fundamental corporate values.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong and thorough knowledge of the commercial banking marketplace and the market area’s key industries and competitive positioning within the assigned market areas.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Exceptional demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and understand aspects of lending, market analysis and industry trends, and cash management, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently with confidence and strong commitment to member service.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Advanced credit and interviewing techniques, credit investigation and underwriting skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work in normal business environment as well as flexible to work evenings and/or attend community events.
