Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Contributes to the development of functional strategy. Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.</p><p></p><p><b>What you&#39;ll be doing:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Develops, aligns and implements commodity strategies.</p></li><li><p>Manage all commercial aspects within PDC commodities.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for setting long term vendor base strategies.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for establishing and maintaining robust supply chain for PDC products.</p></li><li><p>Manage all costing aspects including the identify of Cost Reduction opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Working together with the R&amp;D team on all technology sourcing and costing aspects.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you should have?</b></p><ul><li><p>Relevant Technological Knowledge (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Physics is an advantage).</p></li><li><p>Technical experience in that field with vast Purchasing experience in that field.</p></li><li><p>5&#43; years’ experience in strategic Suppliers Management.</p></li><li><p>Strong commercial orientations, communication, negotiation skill and interpersonal skills</p></li><li><p>High presentations skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience in leading cross- organization projects, leadership capabilities.</p></li></ul><p>Travel – 20%</p></div></div><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Additional Information</b></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Time Type:</b></p>Full time<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Employee Type:</b></p>Assignee / Regular<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Travel:</b></p>Yes, 20% of the Time<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Relocation Eligible:</b></p>No<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\">Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
