The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing occupational therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, helping them achieve their developmental, educational, and functional goals.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.</li>\n <li>Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.</li>\n <li>Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address students' specific needs and promote skill development.</li>\n <li>Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting intervention plans as needed.</li>\n <li>Provide consultation and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to promote students' participation and success in the classroom.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students' academic and functional needs.</li>\n <li>Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of students' education plans.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.</li>\n <li>Must hold valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state in which you live in in which you are practicing. </li>\n <li>Must be Registered with the National Board Certification Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)</li>\n <li>Passionate about working with K-12 students</li>\n <li>Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, computer skills (including email/ and Microsoft teams)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health and wellness benefits package</li>\n <li>Flexible work arrangements</li>\n <li>Opportunities for professional development and growth</li>\n <li>Collaborative and supportive work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer:</p>\n<p>E-Therapy is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
