Pretred values its team members, rewards excellence, and truly believes in a sustainable future.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a <strong>Production Processing Lead</strong> in our brand-new facility, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our plant. This position reports to the Plant Manager.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<p><strong>Safety/Housekeeping</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a safe and clean operating space</li>\n <li>Ensure team is properly trained to safely operate equipment including shredders, grinders, cranes and powered industrial trucks</li>\n <li>Lead daily safety toolbox talk, ensure team members are adhering to PPE requirements</li>\n <li>Perform daily safety & housekeeping inspections.</li>\n <li>Report/correct/prevent unsafe situations</li>\n <li>Ensure all fire prevention measures are followed</li>\n <li>Maintain inventory of PPE & safety tools and equipment (fall protection, eye protection, hand protection, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Production</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead shift activities in the downsizing of tires</li>\n <li>Ensure team is properly trained to safely operate equipment including shredders, grinders, cranes and powered industrial trucks</li>\n <li>Direct all housekeeping activities on your shift including inspection and cleaning of machinery, conveyors, augers and grinders</li>\n <li>Maintain proper machine loading</li>\n <li>Ensure finished product meets quality standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Maintenance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Periodic scheduled & unscheduled maintenance</li>\n <li>Using inspection criteria and machine operation data, perform periodic maintenance including replacement of cutterheads, augers, screens, magnets, sensors and other</li>\n <li>components of the processing system</li>\n <li>Perform daily operator maintenance including greasing, lubrication, and cleaning of specified equipment</li>\n <li>Maintain organized tool boards, ensure inventory of lubricants, small parts and consumables is adequate</li>\n <li>Lead Operator Maintenance activities, verify required maintenance is completed</li>\n <li>Lead periodic component overhaul activities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Kaizen</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work closely with Management & Engineering to improve operations</li>\n <li>Solicit improvement ideas from team</li>\n <li>Drive improvement ideas to completion</li>\n <li>Identify cost savings activities</li>\n <li>Drive a continuous improvement mindset</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring</h2>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior work in a manufacturing setting</li>\n <li>3+ years in safety, manufacturing and production/processing leadership</li>\n <li>3 + years machine operation and maintenance</li>\n <li>Forklift, heavy equipment and/or Crane Operation</li>\n <li>Ability to read and understand machine manuals, SOPs, operator checklists and machine gauges</li>\n <li>Operating tools including impact, pneumatic, grinding tools as well as large ratchets, breaker bars, chisels and wrenches</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, dynamic startup</li>\n <li>Excellent communicator</li>\n <li>Mechanical knowledge related to processing equipment, conveyors, augers or mixers</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., read displays and manuals in English</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Hourly position paying-</strong> $26.00-$30.00/hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM- 1:30 PM or 1:30 PM-10:00 PM</li>\n <li>Overtime may be required, including early start, late finish or weekend shifts</li>\n <li>Stock options</li>\n <li>Medical/Dental/Life</li>\n <li>PTO</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#IND3</p>",
