    "requisitionDescription": "\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.46.11/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.46.11/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>The Public Theater </strong>seeks knowledgeable and experienced over-hire stitchers for its costume shop for the Spring &lsquo;23&nbsp;<span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">season.</span></p><p>As a stitcher, you are responsible for stitching and making any necessary finishes for assigned costumes while <span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">maintaining the integrity of the costume.</span></p><p><u>Responsibilities:</u><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Sewing &ndash; via hand or machine</span><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Alter costumes according to costume department specifications</span><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Manage time effectively on each sewing project</span></p><p><u>Requirements:</u><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Possess advanced knowledge of stitching techniques</span><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Knowledge of basic hand finishing techniques</span><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Demonstrated experience working with domestic and industrial sewing machines, including sergers and overlocks</span><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Be available to commute to the Public Theater during regular business hours (9 am-5 pm Monday-Friday, with&nbsp;</span><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">weekend calls as needed during tech rehearsals.)</span><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Ability to communicate effectively regarding projects</span><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Ability to take instructions</span><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Ability to work well under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment</span><br><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">&bull; Theatrical experience preferred but not required.</span></p><p><u>Salary Range:</u></p><p>Pay rates start at $25 per hour.
