This <strong>hybrid</strong> role is available in our <strong>, Sewickley, PA office</strong>, offering significant career growth opportunities for the right individuals.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Project Leadership:</strong> Lead and manage the design of highway and transportation structures, such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and exceeding client expectations.</p>\n<p><strong>Technical Direction:</strong> Provide expert technical guidance to project teams, overseeing structural design efforts, including developing calculations, specifications, and plans, while ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.</p>\n<p><strong>Project Delivery:</strong> Oversee project scheduling, cost management, and resource allocation, ensuring the successful completion of transportation infrastructure projects.</p>\n<p><strong>Client Relationship Management:</strong> Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships and expanding our market share throughout Pennsylvania.</p>\n<p><strong>Team Leadership and Development:</strong> Mentor and support the professional growth of junior engineers, guiding them in their technical and career development while ensuring the quality and accuracy of all deliverables.</p>\n<p><strong>Business Development:</strong> Contribute to proposal presentations and scoping activities, identifying new business opportunities and expanding the range of services offered to clients.</p>\n<p><strong>Cross-disciplinary Collaboration:</strong> Coordinate with architects, bridge engineers, environmental professionals, water engineers, geotechnical experts, survey teams, and traffic engineers to complete multi-disciplinary project deliverables.</p>\n<p><strong>Thought Leadership:</strong> Contribute to industry technical conferences, committees, and internal development programs. Serve as a design lead and technical advisor for junior engineers and CAD staff.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.</li>\n <li>10+ years of experience in structural or highway and transportation design.</li>\n <li>Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required.</li>\n <li>Proven experience leading design teams and managing complex projects.</li>\n <li>Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li>\n <li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team interactions.</li>\n <li>In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and local jurisdiction permitting regulations.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in MicroStation and MS Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.   </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder</strong></p>\n<p>Kleinfelder has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
