For more information on Horton, Inc. please visit our web site at www.hortonww.com. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong> Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform preventive maintenance on mills, lathes, drill presses, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and production equipment. </li>\n <li>Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. </li>\n <li>Repair or replace bearings, belts, motors, pumps, valves, and machine components. </li>\n <li>Assist with machine alignment, leveling, calibration, and setup. </li>\n <li>Read blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders. </li>\n <li>Use precision measuring instruments and maintenance hand tools safely. </li>\n <li>Support machine changeovers and production startup activities. </li>\n <li>Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts inventory documentation. </li>\n <li>Follow OSHA, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company safety procedures. </li>\n <li>Assist senior technicians with larger repairs and equipment installations. </li>\n <li>As with everyone on the team, other duties may be assigned in order to support the overall success of the company.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Maintenance Technician Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li>\n <li>6+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. </li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of mills, lathes, drill presses, and machining equipment. </li>\n <li>Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics. </li>\n <li>Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices. </li>\n <li>Basic welding and fabrication experience preferred. </li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying industrial conditions. </li>\n <li>Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed. </li>\n <li>Valid drivers license.</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain an industrial power truck license.</li>\n <li>Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
