The EDCJCC is an equal opportunity employer.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>The Edlavitch DCJCC Preschool is seeking several part-time early childhood substitute teachers for our year-round program. The EDCJCC Preschool follows a play-based, constructivist-inspired curriculum, celebrating Jewish holidays, and emphasizing Jewish values. The focus is on exploration, investigation, and observation, working with children who range in age from 18 months to 5 years old. Classrooms range in size up to 16 students per class with 2-3 dedicated teachers.</p><p>Substitute Teachers support the teachers throughout the day, during lunch and nap times, with transitions to the playground or other activities inside and outside the classroom.
