We encourage you to apply and become a valued member of our vibrant campus community today!&nbsp;</p>\n<p>At the <strong>University of Wyoming</strong>, we are committed to creating a supportive and enriching workplace.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>JOB TITLE:&nbsp;</strong> &nbsp;</p>\n<p>Athletic Training Aid</p>\n<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:&nbsp;</strong> &nbsp;</p>\n<p>Assist University of Wyoming Football Certified Athletic Training Staff with Sports Medicine functions. &nbsp;Start date would be late July or early August 2026. &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> &nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist Certified Athletic Trainers with set-up and tear down of athletic team practices and events</li>\n <li>Help with the daily operations of the athletic training room under supervision of staff certified athletic trainers</li>\n <li>Provide on-going hydration and athletic observation during athletic practices and events</li>\n <li>Assist with Athletic Training room maintenance, inventory and cleaning</li>\n <li>Occasional travel with team to away contests for gameday assistance as assigned</li>\n <li>Adhere to confidentiality guidelines</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n <p><span><strong>WORK LOCATION:</strong></span></p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n <p><span><strong>On-campus:</strong> This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.&nbsp;</span><span>&nbsp;</span></p>\n</div>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</strong> &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Education:&nbsp; </strong>High School Diploma</p>\n<div>\n <p>Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the <a href=\"https://www.uwyo.edu/risk/_files/docs/offical-vehicle-policy.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><u>University Vehicle Use Policy</u></a><u>.</u>&nbsp;</p>\n <p>Ability to lift 30+ lbs with or without reasonable accommodation&nbsp;</p>\n</div>\n<p><strong>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to follow directions</li>\n <li>Ability to consistently lift 25 or more pounds at a time with or without reasonable accommodation</li>\n <li>Ability to be present most weekday afternoons and early evenings</li>\n <li>Able to carry supplies and maintain communication and focus for 2-3 hours at a time</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays</li>\n <li>Ability to pay attention to detail and to work both independently or under supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Applications will begin to be reviewed the first week of May 2024 with a start date of July 29, 2024.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED MATERIALS:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Complete the online application and upload the following for a complete application: cover letter &amp; resume.</p>\n<p><strong>HIRING STATEMENT/EEO:  &nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
