This includes working with Production Associates to optimize productivity through efficient, ergonomic and safe workstation designs, Human-machine interfaces and assembly line layouts for current and new products.</li><li>Develop maintain and improve current SCADA system.</li><li>Provide day to day support for the manufacturing of products to ensure meeting customer requirements including the troubleshooting of production problems throughout the plant using structured problem-solving tools.</li><li>Designs, develops and supervises all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment and machinery.</li><li>Responsible for installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software.</li><li>Responsible for support of supervisory control and data acquisition software (SCADA).</li><li>Responsible for installation and support of other automation and electronic machine control systems.</li><li>Assist in the development, performance and optimization of preventative maintenance CMMS systems.</li><li>Develop and implement equipment utilization programs and capacity planning to increase line productivity.</li><li>Provides technical assistance as needed by internal customers.</li><li>Interface with equipment vendors and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve startup or maintenance issues.</li><li>Reverse engineer current systems and programs for performing failure recovery and contingency planning.&nbsp;</li><li>Leads, supports and encourages improvement projects (Kaizen) in conjunction with Maintenance, Manufacturing and Quality through individual and team development.</li><li>Responsible for continuous improvement of plant wide material handling, packaging and product protection and material flow at workstations. Develop and implement overall material handling and product protection strategies.&nbsp;</li><li>Create and maintain manufacturing documentation as required by the various Operating procedures such as Work Instructions, Routings, Manufacturing Process Documentation, etc.</li><li>Remains current in new manufacturing engineering technology, new manufacturing techniques and new equipment. Recommends new approaches where feasible.</li><li>Train others and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to implement changes.</li><li>Demonstrates successful Project Management techniques and abilities by combining Engineering skills and people skills.</li><li>Actively involved in TS16949 processes including Control Plans, PPAP&rsquo;s, Process Capability Studies (Cpk), Characteristics</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 &nbsp;years related experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Must be experienced in manufacturing processes, production tooling, fixture design, work station design, line layout and balancing, OSHA and safety regulations, and hazardous materials management.</li><li>Excellent critical thinking skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Basic PC skills, CAD, Drafting</li><li>PLC, CMMS, ERP, and electronic machine control experience necessary.</li><li>AA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree + experience.</li><li>Interact with outside suppliers, customers, and co-workers in a positive and constructive
