    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><strong>Position Purpose:</strong> Our Produce Team Lead will execute day-to-day operations in the produce department and provide a memorable experience for all our customers. The Produce Team Lead will effectively direct and supervise all activities of the produce department and its personnel to achieve sales, profits and customer service goals established for the department.&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>A&nbsp;Produce Team Lead&nbsp;is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\">A Produce Team Lead’s responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directing produce department personnel, meeting department's goals and objectives.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Engaging with customers through smiles and greetings, offering product information, providing selling suggestions and active sampling and always giving a genuine thank you.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Communicating directly with the store team lead and produce specialist and director.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ordering produces merchandise and supplies necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.</li>\n <li>Merchandising fruits, vegetables, and produce products in accordance with produce merchandising standards.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Building attractive displays of produce, while maintaining proper product inventory levels.</li>\n <li>Observing all store rules and company policies directing all team members to do the same.</li>\n <li>Communicating, executing and supporting all sales and merchandising initiatives.</li>\n <li>Serving as the leader of his/her department, a role model, coach, performance evaluator and trainer.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Creating department budgets and tracking financial reports (e.g. profit/loss, sales and expenses).</li>\n <li>Achieving department sales and profits goals; and controlling department labor, inventory, product out of stocks and shrink, sanitation, supplies, equipment, safety, and scheduling.</li>\n <li>Ensuring department compliance with heath department and weights and measures requirements.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Unloading trailers, receiving merchandise verifying orders, breaking down produce loads, positioning cases of product in the produce warehouse or walk-in cooler.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Understanding proper product trimming, rotation, culling, crisping and watering techniques and procedures, ensuring product attractiveness and shelf life.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Understanding the importance of monitoring product pricing, signage, and placement and the proper use of product shelf tags and signage.</li>\n <li>Keeping clean neat and orderly work and storage areas, including a well swept produce department.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Attentively stocking dated perishable products, rotating them as necessary to ensure quality and safety.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>All other related duties as assigned&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><strong>Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\">Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><strong>Perks &amp; Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation, paid weekly</li>\n <li>Retirement Benefits</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance for yourself and eligible dependents</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement for qualified courses</li>\n <li>Scholarship opportunities for continued education</li>\n <li>Store discount programs (10% off household groceries)</li>\n <li>Fun work environment where you have the opportunity to nourish your community.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><strong>Must be 18 years of age.
