At San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi, the Cashier is a key member of the Sales Department and plays an important role in supporting daily ticketing operations and customer interactions. You will: Interact directly with customers in a dynamic setting Develop experience in sales and transaction processing Work within a team-oriented and operational environment Contribute to efficient daily operations and customer satisfaction What You Will Do Process ticket sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash, card, and other payment methods in accordance with company procedures Issue receipts, tickets, and related documentation Provide accurate information regarding schedules, fares, and services Perform cash balancing and reconciliation at the end of each shift Maintain an organized and prepared workstation Assist customers with inquiries in a professional manner Report discrepancies, operational issues, or customer concerns Follow all company policies, procedures, and operational standards All You Will Need for Success Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in cashiering, sales, or customer service Experience handling cash and processing transactions Skills and Knowledge Strong numerical and cash handling skills Good communication and customer service skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn ticketing systems Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage transactions responsibly and maintain confidentiality What Is Expected This role requires consistency, professionalism, and accuracy in all interactions and transactions.
