    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title</span>:</p>\n<p>Senior Pipeline Engineer (Contract).</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports to:</span></p>\n<p>Engineering Manager</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure preparation of design deliverables with due consideration of applicable codes and standards.</li>\n<li>Ability to prepare Project Scope of work and also extract project Scope of Work from contract scope.</li>\n<li>Prepare Pipeline Deliverables for the various engineering phases: Conceptual, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed engineering Design (DED) and Construction/Installation and Commissioning activities.</li>\n<li>Conduct feasibility studies, route selection, and risk assessments.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and local regulatory standards.</li>\n<li>Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP exercises.</li>\n<li>Embark on Site visits and verification exercise as required.</li>\n<li>Obtain/assimilate relevant design input from Lead Engineer and other Engineering disciplines and incorporate in pipeline deliverables.</li>\n<li>Interpretation of P&amp;IDs, related Piping deliverables on projects.</li>\n<li>Ensure prompt coordination with other engineering disciplines.</li>\n<li>Vendor/OEM/Contractor interactions.</li>\n<li>Supervise contractors during installation and commissioning.</li>\n<li>Ensure appropriate checking/review of primarily all Pipeline and other related discipline documents/drawings at all revision status.</li>\n<li>Assist Lead in work, Cost estimation, planning, progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.</li>\n<li>Implement corrosion control, pigging operations, and leak detection systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Educational Qualifications:</span> B.SC: Mechanical/Marine/Civil/Petroleum/Chemical Engineering. (Optional: MSc.: Pipeline, Oil &amp; Gas Engineering).</li>\n<li>Professional Qualifications: NSE, COREN (mandatory). Others: API, NACE</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of Pipeline engineering principles.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of pipeline hydraulics, stress analysis, and materials engineering</li>\n<li>Familiarity with industry standards, notably: ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII, API 1111, etc.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with recommended practices and carrying out design/engineering of onshore and offshore pipelines as per above codes.</li>\n<li>Preparation of Alignment sheets, Crossing Drawings, Route Maps, Pipeline Approach Drawings, Pig trap layouts, PLEM layouts, Riser drawings, etc.</li>\n<li>Interpretation of Equipment drawings for both Mechanical and Pipeline disciplines.</li>\n<li>Capability to draft Pipeline Design Basis, and Pipeline Deliverables Specifications, etc.</li>\n<li>Specifying and Procurement of Pipeline and Associated Facilities materials in conformity of Materials codes and standards, such as ANSI, ASTM, ISO, DIN, BS codes, etc.</li>\n<li>8 - 10 years experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Software Competency</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Proficiency in using CAESAR II, AVEVA E3D, ANSYS, OFFPIPE, PIPESIM</li>\n<li>MathCAD, autoCAD and Microsoft office suite</li>\n</ol>",
