It’s our talent that helps make Merchants Metals the first name in fence solutions.</p><p>We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to take responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of our mechanical and electrical systems.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance routines on all plant machinery and equipment, such as, motors, gearbox, pumps, etc.</li><li>Able to perform hands-on repairs and installation of machinery parts, such as bearings, pulleys, and mechanisms.</li><li>Knowledge of plumbing installations (CPVC and Threated).</li><li>Electrical troubleshooting, AC 480/240 3PH</li><li>Installation and repairs of 3PH motors.</li><li>Installation and repairs of electrical panels, breakers, fuses, wires, etc.</li><li>Installation of sensors, switches, safety interlocks.</li><li>Repairs and installation of plugs, light fixtures.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance of electrical systems&nbsp;</li><li>Strong knowledge of LOTO will be needed.</li><li>Use of forklift, man-lift, power tools</li></ul><p><u><strong>Job Requirements</strong></u></p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician</li><li>Good understanding of electrical systems</li><li>Basic knowledge of control systems&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods</li><li>Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills</li><li>Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime</li><li>Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired</li></ul>",
